The cooperative marketing, advertising, and promotion (collectively “Marketing”) plan may, in the Company’s sole discretion, include cost-sharing between the Company and the Distributor for the costs and expenses incurred in the course of Marketing the Company’s Products in the following non-exhaustive list of channels: digital (display; SEO; SEM); broadcast (television; radio); print (magazines; newspapers; trade and industry periodicals and pamphlets); and outdoor (billboards and other signage). The Distributor shall be an active participant with the Company in creative design and planning of Marketing appropriate for the Territory.
Example: Master Distributor has a $3,000 Co-Op Marketing balance and receives a $300 Open House Co-Op Marketing request from a rental dealer. The Master Distributor emails the details of the Open House event including the total co-op funds being requested to EDCO at _______ Within 7 days, EDCO approves 50% of the requested $300 amount, or $150. The Master Distributor issues a check or an account credit direct to the Rental Dealer. EDCO issues a $150 account credit to the Master Distributor within 30 days of receipt of proof of performance. $150 is deducted from the Calendar Year account balance, thus the remaining balance to be used within the calendar year would be $2,850.
